Forum Thread: Buy Accutane in Los Angeles

Hey everyone! I've been struggling with severe acne for years now and my dermatologist recommended accutane. It's supposed to be the best solution out there but it's only available by prescription here in LA. Does anyone know a reliable place where you can get it? Preferably not too far from downtown LA.

Hello HealthSeeker92! As a medical professional, I must advise that Accutane is indeed a powerful drug and requires careful supervision. It's important to consult with your dermatologist or primary care physician for a prescription. They will also guide you on the potential side effects and how to manage them.

Thanks, DocOnCall! I understand that it’s something serious but my acne has really been affecting my confidence. The dermatologist mentioned Accutane, so I was looking for options in Los Angeles. Are there any good clinics you would recommend?

HealthSeeker92, I completely understand your concern about your skin condition and how it can affect self-esteem. In Los Angeles, there are several reputable dermatology clinics where you can get a prescription for Accutane:

  1. Dermatology Clinic LA – They have an excellent reputation and experienced dermatologists who can assess whether Accutane is right for you.
  2. Skin & Beauty Dermatology Center – Located in the heart of downtown, this clinic offers comprehensive skin care services including treatments with Accutane.

Remember, it's crucial to go through the proper channels and ensure your health and safety are prioritized. Avoid any unlicensed or online pharmacies that claim to sell prescription-only medication without a valid prescription—it can be dangerous.

DocOnCall, thank you so much for the recommendations! I will definitely check out these clinics. Is there anything else I should know before starting treatment with Accutane? Any specific preparations or precautions?

You're welcome, HealthSeeker92! Before starting on Accutane, here are a few important points to consider:

  1. Pregnancy Testing and Prevention: Since Accutane can cause severe birth defects if taken during pregnancy, it's mandatory for women of childbearing age to have a negative pregnancy test before starting the treatment.
  2. Regular Blood Tests: You might need regular blood tests to monitor liver function and cholesterol levels as these are potential side effects.
  3. Skin Sensitivity: Accutane can increase your sensitivity to the sun, so it's important to use sunscreen and avoid prolonged exposure to UV light.
  4. Side Effects Management: While on treatment, pay attention to any unusual symptoms like dry skin, lips, or eyes, which are common but manageable with proper care.

It’s also wise to maintain open communication with your dermatologist about how you feel during the course of treatment. They can adjust the dosage if needed and help manage side effects effectively.

DocOnCall, thank you for all this valuable information! I’ll make sure to discuss these points in detail with my dermatologist at one of the clinics you suggested. Feeling much more informed now.

If anyone else has had experience with Accutane and can share their insights or advice, it would be great to hear from them too!

Hi HealthSeeker92! I’ve been on Accutane myself for my acne. It’s a bit of a life-changer but comes with its own set of challenges. DocOnCall covered most of the essential points, but one thing that helped me was using a humidifier at home to combat skin dryness. Also, eating well and staying hydrated really made a difference in how I felt overall.

Good luck with your journey! Let us know how it goes after your appointment!

Thank you so much, SkinGuru123! That’s very helpful advice. Using a humidifier sounds like a great idea to manage the dryness. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

Looking forward to my consultation and starting on this treatment soon!
